Exo Experience Challenge

Didn't they say the entries for sheep/goat were limited to folks living within the US? Or was it a US citizen but could be living anywhere? Obviously it would be worth paying airfare from anywhere to do a free sheep hunt if it's allowable.
US Citizen and obviously I have to cover expenses to get there.

Just got a spot for the goat hunt. Is there a discord going for this already or is that setup once registration closes?

After reading today's email, the excitement of this challenge just went up. Looking forward of seeing this through.
I'm guessing this email is for the group that got in on the sheep hunt? I got into this late and was only able to register for the goat but still want to make sure I'm not missing anything.

Correct, an email was sent to the sheep hunt challenge participants today since sheep registration closed already.

I'm in for both sheep and goat and excited about what's to come!

Correct — today's email went out to the sheep folks. We'll have emails/announcements coming out to everyone in the Challenge (regardless of registration type) early next week.

Im in for the goat hunt, looking forward to the rest of the challenges, just completed the March challenge with my hunt plan. Hopefully I draw a cool tag and get to change that up a bit though! The physical aspect is going to be a real challenge for me, I am definitely nervous about the 24 in 24 challenge. I have some foot issues but I am going to start doing some strengthening work on my feet. Thanks EXO for doing this, the hunt would be a bonus but I am just looking forward to having some motivation to get in better shape.

Same here. I have my questions all answered just need to review and submit. You’ll be fine, it doesn’t have to be a strenuous hike (although I’m considering a ridge hike I’ve always wanted to do and my OnX route builder puts it right at 24 miles so I might try that). I look at it as more of a 24 in 12 challenge, is anyone really going to pull an all nighter hiking a pace of 1mph? 2mph is about what I plan for when hiking into places with a pack.

Missed all of this. Are the workouts, requirements listed somewhere if you just want to do the work without any prize, hunt, giveaway benefits?

Good point, I'm only bringing water and minimal food with a few other supplies so won't be crazy weighted down either. I'm actually getting stoked. Planning on cutting back my beer intake and doing some kettlebell strength training as well.

April is 50 miles with a weighted pack. There is a challenge for 24 miles in 24 hours. 1000 step ups consecutively with a 45lb pack on. Backpacking trip with at least 5 miles of hiking before you setup camp. Shooting challenge. Hunt plan.

That’s great! Part of me wants to do the ridge hike first as a backpacking trip but I think I’ll prly do like you say and just try to take water and light pack and get it done as quick as I can and maybe scout some camping spots along the way for a later backpacking or hunting trip. If it’s too difficult of a ridge to keep that pace (a large section doesn’t have a trail and the one other ridge I hiked was surprisingly difficult) I’ll just do a flatter terrain faster hike around the lake to complete that challenge.

I think this is exactly what they are hoping for us all to do, minor lifestyle tweaks for a healthier lifestyle and keeping these challenges in the forefront and back of our minds. I think they did a great job gearing it towards “everyone” so it’s not something you look at and go, I’m not a super marathon athlete or requiring time off a normal 40 hour week so I’m out, but still making it challenging enough that you have to put in work and those super intense guys can always make the challenges harder for themselves if they want to do 24 in 6, 2k step ups or whatever lol.
