Just wanted to post about my most recent experience dealing with the guys at Exo. After packing dozens of animals, sheds, training hikes etc , My K2 belt and lumbar pad were totally packed out (compressed) - long overdue for replacement. I sent an email to Exo and they were very responsive and helpful in finding a solution to refurbish my pack. They didn’t have any more hip belts in stock ( not surprising because that pack is probably 8-10 years old) but I was able to get one here in the RS classifieds.
I headed down to Exo hq here in Idaho unannounced and asked if they could help me with replacing the lumbar pad. The staff member that was there dropped everything he was doing, took my pack into the back and installed my new hip belt and replaced the lumbar pad with new updated foam - free of charge. Excellent customer service by any standard.
Beyond that, I am still so impressed with the company as a whole. Their dedication to building packs that REALLY WORK is second-to-none and unlike just about every other company in the hunting industry, they never sold out - never shifted their manufacturing overseas, and every interaction I have ever had with them has been very positive - So rare in this day and age. @ExoMtnGear, @Mark at EXO Thanks again for doing what you do and doing it so well. Can’t wait for my K4X !
