We were pulled over last year after I got my bull. The entire stop took about an hour and they went through everything very thoroughly. Make SURE you know the regulations because my buddy was trying to tell me the tag could go on the antlers. I knew the regs inside and out and thankfully had that covered.

We deboned the meat to get it out and I left a nut on a large section of meat on the inner thigh. It was in its own game bag with my tag attached. It made it very easy to get that out of the way with the officer; carcass tag & EOS was right there. He went through every game bag in the cooler, checked the second cooler (empty) and checked every single thing you could imagine.
