Looking for a pack for occasional everyday use, day scouting trips, and some day hikes. Thought the Antero 2 would fit the bill but not sure I can justify the cost.

Looking for any recommendations. Kuiu? Stone Glacier Avail? Some hiking brand?

I use a Door Gunner for small short trips and travel and have zero complaints.

I bought the first Kanjera pack to hit retail shelves 3 years ago.

www.kanjera.com

I've flown with it as my checked bag, carry it every day for work, pack in it for weekend trips and hiked with it in TX, OK, NM, CO, WY, ID, & MT. Carrying it for my WY antelope hunt this year.

I've fly fished with it on my back, and used it as a shooting rest. It's been an incredibly tough, versatile, and functional bag.

I’ve had good luck with kuiu venture packs as day packs deer shed roaming and overall packs for hikes and trail cam stuff….just enough room for required items. been using them since 18 when had back surgery and had a weight limitation they carry 20-30 pds very good. I’ve used the 1800 and 2300 prefer the 2300 just a little more room to not over stress the zippers too much

I like my Osprey Talon Pro 20 for day hikes/trips. Osprey also has a Talon 22/33/36 if you want a little more volume. I've used their bags for years while traveling, hiking, and mountain biking. They hold up and are reasonably priced (albeit not made in America).
