Scouting Pack: Approach 2800 or Kiowa 3200

I currently have an Avail 2200 and a 5900 from Stone Glacier. Love both packs but looking for something in between the two. I sometimes wish I had a little more space in the Avail.

Primary purpose of this pack would be summer scouting with a tripod and spotter, further back turkey hunting and day hunts in the earlier seasons.

Part of me leans towards the Approach because I can throw it in my frame and still haul meat via the load shelf.

I had originally ordered the Avail and thought it was way too small and returned for the Kiowa. Use the Kiowa for some light day scouting trips from the truck with spotter, 15s, and misc gear. Works well for that. Frame is a bit short for me. Actually use the Kiowa more as a carryon and as a pack for snowshoeing.
