Anyone ever had their bolt come out in their hand running a Tikka T3x action?

Ejected a stubborn shell last weekend and all of a sudden had an independent bolt that don't need no confining action in her life. hahah.

Not in a Tikka but it happened to me in a Bergara which is a 700 clone. If you have to mortar the gun hard enough you want the bolt stop to break so you don’t damage your bolt lugs. Bolt stops are cheap and replaceable and the gun functions without one.

I v seen it happen on other rifles but only heard of it on a tikka. I keep a spare bolt stop around for that purpose.

Iv got thousands of rounds on my tikka actions with no broken stops yet

Good to know on the bolts for other rifles! This is a broken stop, not the bolt... so not totally sure what the replacement of that stop will take. We got a call in to Tikka, but as with everything that's manufactured these days, I'm not holding my breath for a quick turnaround.

This is a long one, get a short if needed. They are extremely easy to replace. No need to use a punch or anything the pin pulls right out when you pull the action from the stock.

This ended up being an incredibly easy fix. And the Mountain Tactical part seems legit. Thanks Rokslide guys! 👊👊
