Tikka bolt stop pin break diagnosis

Is there a chance that the pin was undersized or the hole is now "egged" from hard use? I've just never seen it in any of the 8 Tikka actions I own in both stainless and blued. Where did you get the replacement pin?

The pin was not undersized. The hole on the OEM mechanism was egg shaped.
I got a replacement set from Mountain Tactical. New pin, spring and mechanism.

The pin was not undersized. The hole on the OEM mechanism was egg shaped, I assume from being hit. But I think this anomaly happened because the pin was not seated in the upper hole.
I got a replacement set from Mountain Tactical. New pin, spring and mechanism.
The oem stop is supposed to be egg shaped, part of what keeps it from breaking
