I'm looking at picking up the Sea to Summit Ether Light XR...can't decide between the Large or the Large Mummy....I have a WM AlpinLite bag, and do tend to side sleep. I'm wider in the shoulder so I do like the wide pads. In looking at the shape of these pads, the mummy does seem pretty wide near the bottom....I normally use a rectangular pad without a problem. Just wondering what others thoughts are.

My feet invariably ended up off the pad when I used a mummy shape, not nearly so much once I switched to rectangular pads. For the minimal weight difference, I'd definitely go rectangular, but if you don't move around much it probably doesn't matter either way.

that's a good point, I do move around a lot and probably would fall off the mummy pad.
I ordered the Large rectangular pad from REI (good sale right now), it was $30 more than the Large Mummy but oh well. I have an Exped Ultra 7R (down pad) that is Regular Wide, and even though I'm not tall, its just not long enough for me to not hang off the front or the back as I move around at night.
