Equipment versus practice posts and Rifle practice/shooting

Plan to get out and shoot this again sometime in the next week. I've been playing around dry firing different seated supported positions with the pack up front but I really think I prefer shooting off crossed poles. Are you guys managing to get poles unstrapped from the pack, set up and get shots off in the 20 seconds? It just seems like it's gotta be impossible but you don't know what you don't know. Guess I need to come up with a way to keep the poles from sliding out so I can run through it dry firing in the shop.

Nah not for the hunters drill. Just sit on your ass & shoot off your pack

I tried this today with a full pack and bino harness.
Full disclosure in 45+ years of hunting I have never used a bino harness. I timed out of a total of 6 shots. The first time removing the pack I felt like Tin Cup

Took me 10 seconds just to get the straps unbuckled and sit down. Certain parts didn’t like moving that fast.
I would rather look like a monkey playing with a football now then when it matters.
This is going to take some work to hit the time limits and score in double digits.

I do need to lighten the trigger on the practice rig. I really notice it on the off hand and unsupported shots. Feel like I am slapping the trigger like a shotgun.
