Like everything else in life, you get exactly what you pay for. There are no free rides. If the Razor HD was every bit as good as an EL, they would be asking the same price for them. Caddy's don't sell at VW prices. I personally like my Leica Ultravid 7x42HD's for hunting Pa eastern open hardwood hills. However, I am saving for a pair of either Leica 10x42 HD+ or Swaro 10x42sv's for potential future western hunting where I need some extra magnification. There is a very good reason the bird watching community chooses the Leica's overwhelmingly and has done so for a very long time.....and these people take their hobby just as, if not more serious than the hunting community..as it relates to optics. They want them to be clear, bright, sharp and transmit perfect color spectrums. I doubt many, if any serious birder's have Razors in their hands. I will save for the top tier glass, as I have looked through the Razors and was unimpressed.
