Eggs are expensive. Have you changed your breakfast because of it? What are you eating?

RIP @robertpaulsen Heard you got banned for posting your fake turtle eggs on this post. Some people can’t take a joke.

I’ll get a bag of Doritos in your honor!!! #neverforget
Wow. You’re serious aren’t you? I scrolled back through and the pics of “turtle eggs” were deleted.

We have to ban plastic straws. They’re killers.

Eggs have been expensive in ask for a long time. Funny thing is, last time I payed attention at Costco 2-3 weeks ago they were under 10 bucks for two dozen, which is about what it seems like they’ve been for a while now. I didn’t look this week when I grabbed them, but didn’t see anyone fainting in that part of the store. I’ll probably continue to not care too much.

3-4 eggs daily with either bacon, ham, scrapple, spam, or sausage. We've had 7-8 chickens for almost 10 years. They lay enough for us plus I sell a few dozen.

Wow, I do get some eggs from a guy at work, but here, at the local Cash Saver grocery, freaking eggs haven went from 2.75 a dozen to 10.00....and I eat 3 a day lol now these are for Jumbo size, I just like that size for boiling.

Not significant enough to impact my budget. Still a pretty cheap protein in my opinion.
I can buy a lot of eggs for the price of many things I blow money on like eating out.
If anything I am just looking at the weekly adds from my grocery and developing my menu for the week based on what is bogo or at least on sale. But eggs, I will continue to have.

Whackadoodle Nevada legislature a few years back outlawed anything except “free range” eggs, which have chickens outside in huge moving pens in more contact with wild bird crap and more likely to be impacted. Recently that law was suspended. lol

I’m sure some chicken nuts cried that the pens would no longer be moving through pastures outside and now have a concrete floor again.
We're too close to CA.

I have consistently ate 3-5 dozen egg a week for years.
Refuse to pay the stupid prices.
I can buy all different kinds of meat instead.

Some of us miss you over there! LOL

I’d like to ask for a favor. Post the Rogan podcast from today on the current events/politics/echo chamber on tbh. Most of those guys need to hear it. And if they search back in the archives, they will see Ole Dapper was telling them all of this 4 years ago….

lol - sorry you’re such a big proponent of free range eggs. I call stuff out on both sides to interject some actual thought based on facts into topics - always have, always will. You know if you block me I wouldn’t feel bad whatsoever.
I drive down the road and get eggs from the cooler and drop a five in the jelly jar. Or I go buy a two dozen at the MutantMart. Either way, I’d rather not block you and you just stop.

I'll keep eating them as normal, until they hit $1 each. We will give uo alot of other things to keep eggs 😆

I’ve never looked at the price of eggs but this thread made me look yesterday when I was at the store

Free range, soy free organic eggs in alaska: $4.46 a dozen
I’m shocked egged are about 9 per dozen where I live

I don't eat them for breakfast, I do eat them at supper. They are about $8.00 dz here. I'm fortunate that my neighbor has chickens and supplies eggs every week. Great people for sure. Have not had to buy eggs in many years. I share Elk or Deer with them to reciprocate.
