Thinking about placing an order for a 20 degree prodigy. Sub 2lbs for synthetic (I like the weather protection - e.g. moisture) is pretty good. Anyone used one?

Thanks!

I have a 30 degree and I took it down below 30 a few nights in co last year. I'd weary fleece to sleep in along with my beanie and I was toasty warm.

I've got a 20 degree prodigy waiting for me in my mailbox right now. A little less than two weeks and I'll be home from work and plan on taking it into the mountains right away among a few other pieces of new gear. I'll post my initial impression of it on here after the trip. I've never used a quilt before but it's lighter, gives me room to toss and turn and rated warmer than my sleeping bag I have now and I hate that thing so I'm pretty sure I'll like it.

I have the prodigy 40 and have slept down to just below freezing and was fine with base layers. All the worries I had about making the switch to a quilt seem to be non issues or minimal.

Great! Just placed an order for an in-stock prodigy. I'll be testing it out in just over a week.

Have an EE 20deg Rev-X that I really like! Last fall in CO was a friggin' soaker & I got by OK with the down Rev-X quilt, but the footbed area did soak in some moisture from contact with condensation inside my Tarptent. The moisture soaking wasn't enough to lose warmth, but the down in the footbed area did get a bit 'clumpy' and needed aired out in the morning. If I was able to keep the side flaps open, the condensation would likely not have been a factor. Just that it poured every dang afternoon and night!

Anyhoo, that little bit of moisture soak-age was enough excuse to order a synthetic 20deg Prodigy. Waiting patiently for it...
