Something a little lighter to ponder on:

Let's say you get on a plane with only street clothes and you know it's going to crash in a remote, uninhabited area but you'll survive. No gear along just shirt, pants, and some footwear. Where would you want that plane to crash?

Situational way of asking where in the world is it easiest to survive with poor preparation?

Definitely Hawaii. Fresh water all over, easy fish and crabs, and it's never any kind of cold. I'm in Hawaii now and it would easy to live off the land here.

Right up until one of those volcanoes decide to blow. Or a hurricane comes in. Then things get dicey real quick.

I got nothing. I try to avoid planes when I can. Just doesn’t seem natural.

Crash inside a High Fenced enclosure in Texas..../grin....I think you will have enough to survive though the chiggers might drive you batty.
