So we could call it a “catch and release” bull?Usually has a number to call in case it was tranquilized so that you can check if it’s been long enough that it’s safe to eat again.
Idaho and Washington will give you another tag if it’s within the time of being unsafe to eat. I’m sure other states do as well.So we could call it a “catch and release” bull?
For what reason would they have to be tranquilized?See lots of mule deer migrate into town in the winter with ear tags. I'm surprised by apparently how common it is to have to tranquilize them.
The only cases I've heard of around town are when they are tangled up in clothes lines etc. That being said, that's almost always bucks that do stuff like that and I regularly see tagged does, too.For what reason would they have to be tranquilized?
