Well - no big bulls this year on Idaho Draws, but the kids did pull some tags. My 16 year old son drew a desert cow tag in southern idaho for December and an extra cow tag in the same unit. My 13 year old daughter drew a cow tag in an adjoining desert unit for most of November.
Will be fun times chasing the elk and hoping weather has them migrating on the late hunts. Daughters hunt may be a bit tougher as she cant shoot as far and isn't as experienced, but I'm sure we can get it done. Probably will have access to some good private land that will help a lot.
Time to get those kids out shooting/practicing!!!
