Late June ship date. Looking for some teaser Photos. And there is really only one review out there on the Sawtooth. Anyone 6 foot that owns one tell me how well you stand up in it? I am guessing its just right around the center pole? Thanks fellas. Super excited.

Congrats,, my Sawtooth is my favorite shelter. I have wrote up quite a few reviews on mine, there is a video of it in some high winds on Kodiak.

Yeah I figured. Wish there were more video reviews out there on it. Thanks FF. I flat out cant wait.

Nice. Like any other Kifaru product made your in for a treat. The sawtooth has Lots of room for the weight but I guess you can say the same for all kifaru shelters. Im 5' 08" and have plenty of room to stand up in the sawtooth.

Sawtooth is a great shelter. Really nice for 1 or 2 guys. But heck Ive slept 4 in it before. :)

Stid I saw that where you and Luke where hunkered down with it. Yeah I think ive watched all of them out there. =-)

Justin thanks for the Photos those help a lot. Wife is 5 foot and Im 6 foot so we should have plenty of room. So the stove. Is it in the center or does it stay more towards the front? can you position the stove on the side door there out of the way? Appreciate the feedback fellas.

Few pics for ya.

So how long till it's for sale? August? :)

That right there is half the reason I post these little Topics. =-) Never fails.

Think a few guys lost a bet on the Xing that I would sell it. Still got it hehe

I have made a reputation for buying and selling gear, But I feel I provide a great service to the hunting community =-)

I know you are. I dont sweat it. Its a running joke with most hehe. Stand up room same reason Patrick smith Created this Shelter was to be able to enter and exit the shelter without getting on the ground. Provides a bit more room back instead of around then the 4 man.

Steve what is that Green Tipi in the back ground?

Nice. Hey I know Durapegs are out no longer provided. Anyone know what the new Stakes are that Kifaru ships with the Shelters? I asked Angie and she wasnt sure. Love to see a Photo of what they are. Kind of glad the Durapegs are out. Ive broken about 5 of those. Cold Hot Cold Hot is terrible with them.

seems to me as ever since the invention of the sawtooth the 4man has become antiquated unless you got a screaming deal on one.
tarp, sawtooth, 6 more likely 8 man (or for me 12) seems reasonable shelter arsenal. and maybe throw a hille in there too incase you feel the urge to make camp at 12k

I think the tipis are cool because of the shape. They shed wind better in my opinion.

Maybe Patrick can comment, but I'm pretty sure the sawtooth was invented after he got tired of crawling into the super tarp. He used the super tarp solo a lot. The sawtooth is similar in shape to the super but with an enclosed front and walk in room.

The sawtooth by no means replaces the 4 man. But is just another tool in the tool belt of shelters you can have.
