Drop testing Athlon scopes

I've read the drop test report for the Helos 2-12 scope, and I was wondering if anyone here has feedback about the zero retention on other Athlon scopes, including the Midas and Argos lines.

I haven’t intentionally dropped any of mine, but I’ve good service from the Athlons I have.

Multiple Argos, Midas Tac, and Ares BTR.
Had a flake that showed up in a Talos that was covered under warranty.
All have done well with tracking and zero retention given my use.

Riding in the back of the truck, normal hunting conditions (for me) and NRL 22 matches.

All in the last 5 years.

I have an Ares 1-10x lpvo i dropped close to 17 feet when getting settled into my tree saddle. Zero shifted about 3 inches to the right. Aside from that it's been solid.

I have a cronus btr, their first gen top of the line scope, that I bought in 2018. Its made by low in Japan, while all their other scopes are made “elsewhere”. It would not surprise me at all if it shifted from actual drops, but I havent tested. What I have tested regularly is zero retention just from use (which is range time, practice and occasional local PRS matches). The zero has never shifted from this use, return to zero and tracking have been good. I tried to sell the scope a few years ago and did a tall target test at the time, which also did just fine. Im a believer in the drop tests, I have had other scopes lose zero, but this one has been fine for me.

ares btr g2 mounted on my rifle, rifle on a tripod. fumbled tripod on concrete, everything fell over. reticle shifted, rezero'd and its held since. thats all i have dropped.

I dropped a Midas Tac using most of Forms method. I didn't do the 3 foot 9 times drop. It wasn't my scope so I stopped before that. I did do the single drop on all 3 sides from 3 ft. It shifted about an 1 inch on one of the 3 foot drops. The next drop it was back into the group.

I also have one on a 22 creed that I throw in the truck whenever I head to the hills. It hasn't lost zero yet riding in the truck on a lot of really rough roads. I've had it about a year.

I really doubt it would completley pass Forms drop testing, but I think it is pretty solid. It is the scope I usually recommended for people on a budget. This is also the old style. I have no experience with the new version.
