Does anyone use a thermal while scanning before switching to traditional optics?

The sophistry in favor of thermal is so sloppy and illogical but simultaneously well written that there's no way the pro-thermal side is simply stupid. Guys I know you love your thermal toys (I even ordered one once but it was from optics planet and I'm sure you all know how they let you buy backordered stuff and it gave me time to realize my state wouldn't allow me to do much with it and cancel the order). But i just want you to know that making garbage arguments over and over again is really not cool and it's unnecessary. If your state says it's legal you should absolutely get one and not care at all about what anyone says.

I wish Colorado would legalize it for coyote and predator not big game. The college educated yuppies won't let us change those rules though.
