Does anyone eat coyote regularly

I’ll eat and try a lot of stuff but that’s a hard pass on coyote. Not sure if I’d eat mountain lion either. Something about eating a carnivore.

After having enjoyed Bobcat myself? I sooo wanna have some MtnLion!

You are what you eat. Coyotes eat a lot of decomposing critters along with rodents. I'm guessing the buteric acid in rotten meat would be prevalent in coyote meat.

I boiled the meat off a raven in high school for the skeleton. The steam coming off the pot smelled like rotten meat and had a somewhat purple tint to it. It took three days to get the smell out of the house.

There was a gent down on the snake river catching salmon (pre-dams) and feeding them to his pigs. It made that pork inedible.

Kitties tend to eat fresh meat hence are probably more edible.

I've never heard of anybody eating the smelly buggers. However, I'd never heard of people eating moutain lion either before today, so I could be missing out!

Mtn lion is actually very tasty. Stinking coyote no way.

Just to formally make sure the point has been stated here on this thread, not all Yotes are stanky once they're down.
