Do you like where the NFL is heading?

I don't really have an issue with playing a few game over sea, but I would not like to see extending the league to include places like, England, Ireland, Mexico and so on. I think all the air travel would be too hard on the players week after week. I might not have a problem with a team or two in Canada, after all that may be a future state. :), :):ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:...

I understand the league going overseas as it build's the fan base, I'm so-so about it. I would like to see them go to 18 games and reduce the preseason to 2. Then I don't have to pay for as many as those worthless preseason Packer tickets. None of the projected starters play in any of the preseason games anyway.

I still watch, but less than I used to. I've been watching as a fan for over 50 years; what I have come to realize is (for me at least), a root problem for the NFL: I don't know all the rules. And I'm not a casual fan. I try to learn the new ones - the reality is the game is simply too complex.

On the other hand, I'm now watching much more of a couple other major sports...ones where the rulebook could not also be used as a booster seat or stool.

And yes - the overseas games are mostly annoying.

PS - My wife calls it concussionball.

Not much anymore. I can’t stand the way they use “player safety” as a guise to baby their star QBs (Mahomes) while letting defensive players blow out their knees trying to avoid actually tackling them. And then the one time Mahomes actually does get tackled he’s yelling at the refs for not throwing a roughing flag.

I don't watch football since the police brutality shoes.kneeling for the anthem...ETC.. my neighbor avid sports person doesn't miss a game. He asked my opinion? I told him "watching professional football is like watching someone else have sex if your not participating"

I think they would survive the travel. It's not like they are flying coach or something.
So let's say they have a team in Sydney Australia, from NY it's a 22+ hour flight, which in reality makes for a better than 30 hour day. How much time would they need before they could be ready to play, another 24 hours, then they have to fly home, and maybe go to England the next game. West coat its a 16 hour flight. Midwest 20+ hours. It doesn't matter how you are flying 20+ hours takes a drain on the body.

I agree. Don't bring it to Australia.
NFL is the most boring stop start sport there is.
Run a bit, whistle, stop, change teams because we lost possession. Repeat.
Takes hours to play 1 hr

I have long thought you could spice the same up with some more consequences. For example, why not have a mote along each of the sidelines with crocodiles in the water?

Yeah I think they are doing a pretty solid job.

Wouldn’t mind a different kickoff format, I get it but this one is a real dud

Imo for just viewing pleasure they have the best sports product on tv right now, but I like watching football so not surprising I think that.

I took my 3 yr old squirrel hunting last evening, didn’t even know a football game was on let alone the Super Bowl. I’m only in my 30s and couldn’t tell you the last time I watched any. Just meaningless waste of time for the limited of days we have on this earth.
