Probably 15+ years ago, I stockpiled five boxes away. Why are these so great and are they way more better than the Remington 165s that you can still find?Hornady 7mm, round nose, 175 gr interlock bullets
Consistant mushrooms without breaking up, accurate to at least 600 yds consistantly.
Corelocks would be an option except I haven't seen any for sale since the 80s. Same with grandslams. I haven't seen a box of speers on the shelf for 20 years.
I our country all we have to pick from are little fast bullets that break up. Slower bullets produce less bloodshot and no lead in the meat. After 50 years I'm not worried about hitting critters. I want to be able to eat them. I like consistancy and dependable choices. Having to start over to find something that works every time is not desirable. Even if the companies make them it doesn't do you any good if the stores won't stock them.
Never seen any- not a local option. Haven't even seen sierras for a number of years.
