Diesel heater suggestion

I think a 5kw heater would heat that area without a problem. Especially if you recirculated the air. 8kw are really 5kw so don’t worry about that when shopping.

Just make sure you keep a battery source between generator and heater. That way if the generator runs out of fuel or dies, you don’t toast the heater.

That's cool but $42 is steep. One of these RSers should 3d print these things and sell them on Etsy. My tent has separate zippers for vertical and horizontal and only one on each axis so won't work very well.

Browsing this thread, just curious if it’s possible to go too big on these little heaters? I’d like to be able to use it for my little 2 man tent when I’m solo but also use it in our roof top tent with annex when the wife tags along.

Sounds like they run better at higher outputs which will be no issue in a RTT but a small ground tent may not require it?
