I have a few cans, just looking for the single best one for 22CM build. I can get a Jolene S for $525, Wolf Hunter for $720, or CAT for $1090. I do like the shorter length and weight of the CAT vs the WH but it makes this weird circle where I go back to a Jolene being so much cheaper ha.
Yep I hear ya on that! Resilient cans are prices extremely reasonably. My margins are abysmal on the CAT cans but the performance speaks for itself.
As far as i know, the CAT cans use some weird ass mounts. For that reason alone i wouldn't get one. I want all of my stuff to be able to switch between 1/2" and 5/8" HUB mounts. They do have some cool Tech but I can't get on board with their mounts from my limited research.
Pretty sure all the cans besides their 22 one come in hub mount configuration. Thats what I have for the 3 I got, WB, JL & MOB. Also, MOB has a removable end cap but not the other 2

Here is the Jolene S and Scythe to back to back on my 7 prc. I can’t tell much difference.
(I’m the only male in my household if you can’t tell from the ear pro selection 😂)

I have both of these in jail right now with a trust. One is going on a 300BO the other will go on a 6.5CM. I am looking forward to shooting them!

What have you noticed as far as first round pop or first round accuracy? I am currently looking at both of these cans for hunting primarily and accuracy is important. I’m new to the suppressor world. Thanks for the input!

Also fairly new but can’t tell much difference between the two. I wear ep when shooting targets and me and a buddy both killed bulls with them in Wyoming with no ep’s. No noticeable difference in accuracy. From my limited experience shooting them without ep’s I couldn’t pick a winner but I’m hard of hearing to begin with.

Good to know! I was pretty set on the omega 300 and then discovered the Jolene. Thanks for the info!

Can anyone speak to how the Jolene S compares to the harvester evo in sound suppression? Assuming if the Jolene is close to the scythe, it probably beats the evo. The evo is my only can currently and has been great for my uses. The Jolene seems like a solid option for my wife’s rifle.

Anyone had any issues with failures on the Jolene? Looks like a lightweight Ti can and the Scythe failure thread makes me wonder.

My Jolene S has been reliable and great sounding on my 5.56, 6.5CM (2), 30-06 and soon to be on a 7mmRM. No complaints at all. I am just over 300 rounds with it.

How is the recoil reduction with the Jolene on the 30-06?

I’ve got the Jolene s on a .308 and it knocks recoil down to nothing. Doesn’t bother my ears at all. That said, I have not shot other suppressors in the US to compare.

Good to know, thank you. Any other issues with it? I’m considering this against and Enticer sti.

My Jolene S has been nothing but functional and boring, exactly what I want it to be. It’s light, quiet, and suppresses recoil well. I have it on a 7-08 and recoil is about the same, if not less, than my bare muzzle 223.
