I think a cerakoted blade is the better option for orange, because the handle on it is awesome in use and maintains grip even with fat and blood, I wouldn’t want to mess with the texture

Orange G10 could be an additional option I guess, but the carbon handle on it kicks ass

Summary - 5 stars, would recommend

After a year or more of this knife riding around in my pack with high hopes of testing it out on an elk or muley in MT this fall, I finally got to try it out on a late season archery whitetail here in ND. It was a balmy 0° with a miserable wind that made the windchill somewhere in the -15° to -20° range. I wore a thin pair of First Lite merino liner gloves with nitrile gloves over them in an attempt to not freeze my hands off. Even with blood and stuff freezing onto my gloves, the grip on this knife was great. I never felt it slip or felt like I couldn't control it. Any time the knife wasn't in my hand, everything on it froze, but it still did the job perfectly.

Getting a whitetail taken care of isn't a super difficult task, but in the past I would have used a combo of a Havalon and a Buck fixed blade, and the Dragonfly has easily replaced them both. After I let this guy hang for a week or so I will likely use the Dragonfly again to get him skinned and maybe just break the whole thing down with it before I switch to my longer Meatcrafter.
