Darton Consequence 2 small limb split

Hey guys, sent an email off to Darton, and I'll see what they say, but figured I'd share here. Got this bow back in Jan, and have put a couple thousand shot through but tonight heard a squeak I hadn't heard before so did a once over on the bow. Noticed this small crack. I've heard Darton limbs have had some issues, but thought they might be isolated incidents. Is this limb toast?

Darton should take care of you, I'd keep shooting it.

I know of several with way worse splinters and some super glue applied that keep trucking.


Normally these types of slivers that peel up line that are just superficial. Won't effect tune, or really do anymore.

Thanks! I kind of thought this was the case, but figured I'd get some thoughts since I'm new to this and like my vision. I'm using gorilla glue gel for fletching. Will that work or you have a better recommendation

I'd not use the gel so it hopefully seeps in a little better.

Or you can just leave it.
I don't think it really does anything, just gives a feeling of security.

Ya, I didn't think it'd help with anything structural, just stop any creeping it might try to do

I did have a maverick 2 explode on me (well not me the work bench) but it was the cam shaft that failed.

They sent me a new one promptly and could not believe it until I sent them photos.

Shot lights out until that though. Good people over there at darton.
