I really sympathize with you Randy. I’m 50 now and although I don’t have any completely debilitating issues mine are adding up and my body just won’t due what I want it to anymore. All you can do is make the best of what you can do. Looking forward to the rest of this series.

Me too, but dang that young man is mature beyond his years. Although he did let them pressure him into the first shot, he stuck to his morales and let that ram walk out of his life and not take another shot.

Takes some stones to not throw that "Hail Mary"

All that up and down is making me tired,, spend the night on them, save some of that energy and wake up with sheep outside the tent. Youth is wasted on the young.

Indeed youth is wasted on the young ! He had more restraint than I probably would have had. He needs to shoot more ! That pull it off the pack to cycle the bolt totally loses the setup and target. If he hadn’t come up off the rifle...but that’s all history now. That’s some killer tough country to hike around in. If Marcus gets a sheep he sure has put in the miles to earn it !
