Yes. Copper Creek Pack, male died upon recapture, female was just put down. Pups should be 1 yr old now, brought up by depredating parents (also against the management plan). There will end up being more put down out of this pack over time.

Pitken county is up there… Clearly it’s the transplant population that voted for them not the historical local ranching community. The valley already has one of the highest bear populations and now the highest wolf population.

The ballot initiative conveniently said they have to be west of the continental divide. I’m not really sure how it’s democratic to literally vote for something in someone else’s backyard in black and white (vs implied).
