I havent installed much if any I cam remember, corregated fiberglass panels. I see the info you have posted and this leads me to believe whoever installed the stuff I've worked around has always installed it wrong, because I've never seen it screwed on the rib. Only ever seen it screwed on the valley.You must have different suppliers than I do, or it’s for installations that don’t need to be water tight. I could take 5 minutes and come up with 5 installation manuals that all show screws through the tops of the ridges.

The rib makes more sense honestly. It just seems like screwing it there would crush the fiberglass.
