I used to run the ST Maxx on my F350 and my older Duramax they get noisy after some wear in my experience, they’re a tough tire, I live in snow country and had to sipe them for winter use

BFG KO had better tread life and quieter, softer so a little better in winter

Get the best performance out of Goodyear Wranger Duratrac, quiet, good in snow and on ice and good handling off-road, good treadwear

I can tell you one that I won't recommend for winter. Yokohama Geolander ATX are not much good offroad, not soft enough on icy roads. And seem to load up in snow. These are on a 1/2t crew 4wd.

I have run both and were fairly loud when they got a few miles on them. Great tires though,

I've had both of those tires and would take the Maxx if I had to choose between them.

Totally agree. I’ve had 2 sets of ST Max on my Tundra but the Falkens have been great and I’ll be getting another set.
