I don’t have the slcs but have looked through them a few times. I love my Sig Sauer Zulu7s which are 600ish. Great glass, no issues, lifetime warranty

The pre HD Leica Trinovids hang right there with the SLC's.

Why do you mention pre HD? I was considering the current trinovids.

Tract Toric 8x42’s are pretty sweet. Picked mine up on a Tract sale for just over 600.
