Idaho fires

I archery hunted near this area for alone time. Killed 6. Bulls back there. Quit hunting it because of the pressure and wolves. I havnt heard it's gotten any better. Hiked back into blue lake today with the wife and smoke was pretty bad. Road was worse, lost a tail light due to the washboards. Still a good time.

Still looks beautiful despite the smoke, glad to hear it was fun. And yeah unfortunately anymore you can throw a dart at an Idaho map and wherever it lands someone will tell you they dont bother hunting it because there's too much pressure and wolves are there... no offense intended. Just noticing a theme

Some of Idaho's biggest fires started after the 20th of August and went until snow flew. It isn't over until it's over.

Rock fire must have kicked back up. Pretty smokey now and few days ago it was fine.

It's coming from up North not the Rock fire FWIW. I think up in the Church.

Came back over this morning from Montana and just an inversion up high and bad smoke from the mouth of the Selway all the way down river.

Get a text from a buddy this afternoon with equipment out saying s*** was hitting the fan then two pics from other people of 2 different columns capping.

It might be rough few days for the other fires boiling underneath the inversion once the smoke lifts out.

Been in cascade for 3 days. Rock fire has been the same as well as the smoke. Rode up to 4 corners yesterday. Its closed to council and towards the north. Pics are from west mountain road and up higher headed toward 4 corners (thats sugarloaf out there in the smoke)
