8 years ago when they approved it it was deemed as a necessity for handicapped shooters, which it is. It's sad that the needs of the handicapped was supplanted by the wants of some gun bois avoiding a $200 fee.

Well currently I'm not required a tax stamp on a rifle or a pistol.

In Oregon anyway you only have to be 18 to buy a rifle 21 for a pistol.
Not sure if I purchased the pistol legally why I can't turn it into a rifle.

The brace will require a tax stamp and registration since you've created a sbr. Take the brace off and keep your pistol a pistol and avoid the registration and all the stuff that comes with having a registered weapon

Once they have the Executive and both branches of Legislative they move to the next phase. Steps, many steps. This will take time, with interruptions like we had with President Trump. Every Republican is not a card carrying Tea Party member. Every Republican is not a Libertarian. Every Democrat is not a socialist.

If what you're saying is true then there is no such thing as a moderate Democrat politician in this country. There are only outright socialists like progressives, and then sneaky socialists masquerading as regular old Democrats. That's not any less dumb than saying all Republicans are secretly fascists. It's lazy.

It's almost like people are capable of appreciating subtle differences in viewpoints on their end of the political spectrum, but anyone on the other side of center is an extremist. Democrats do that shit too.
