No go for my son, 4th season deer, last year 100% draw with 4 points, top rut showed 100% with his 5 points for this year..... nope now has 6 points for next year to try and draw 3rd season which "should" only take 2 points to draw.

Absolutely, that's my concern next year if he doesn't draw a historically 2–3-point unit with 6 points.

I applied to a 3rd rifle deer hunt as a NR with 5 points. This hunt drew out at 20% success rate with 2 points in 2025. The majority of hunters used 3 and 4 points for that hunt last year. I was successful in the draw. I was afraid of the potential creep so wanted to give myself a decent buffer.
