Elk tag arrived in the mail two days ago….

Why can’t every game agency print tags and licenses on good waterproof paper like Idaho?? I’ve ruined a pile of tags up here in Alaska when zip locks fail.

Don’t store them in your wallet! There was a batch of printer paper that the ink would disappear with body heat. It was an issue last year, not sure if they resolved it this year.

You can buy waterproof paper on the internet.
I’ve also had pretty good luck “laminating “ with clear packaging tape. If it doesn’t need signed at the kill.
Hunt-tags offers some cool products as well.
They offer heavy duty little pouches.
And for E-tag states like OR where you have to write an essay at the kill sight there super handy. And they come with a little peel and stick, lamination thing.
