For cold weather spot and stalk hunts, what gloves or mittens have people found provide the best solution? For early season mule deer and elk, I've never used gloves. By late season and high elevation October hunts, my hands are freezing and my leather gloves with thinsulate just aren't cutting it.

And, my wife shoots traditional and has a three finger glove that she uses to shoot. Do you trad guys use a particular mitten? Or a particular glove?

My hands run very cold, I think I have raynauds syndrome, I bought the wool talus gloves from first lite hoping those will work well for spot and stocks without compromising accuracy with my bow. However when I'm not on a stalk I'll wear a heavily insulated glove with the wool liners underneath, as well as a few instant hot packs if I can't move my fingers

I would suggest looking into the Sitka Gear gloves. I have used two different pairs for late season archery here in Oregon.

Look into the Sitka traverse gloves. I personally use them and can shot with them. They will keep your hands warm for archery season, or look into the ascent gloves. They are not as thick as the traverse, but they are easier to shot with. I would recommend either of those.

i have a fair of fingless wool filson gloves that been to hell and back. I usally carry them in cold weather pair up with a one of my sitka gear sets. I switch back and forth depending on what i am doing.

I really like the Sitka incinerator mitts, mitt flips up to a liner glove and i have no trouble shooting my bow
And they are warm as can be, also use a hand muff around my waste.
