Anyone know of any other manufacturer jackets on par with the Sitka coldfront at a better price (than their $400 sale price)? Doesn't have to be a hunting company but wouldn't want any loud colors. Looking for a warmer gore-tex (or the like) saddle jacket. Thanks

Kuiu guide DCS is fairly close. I’ve got both

The Cold Front vs. Guide similarities end in that they are both “jackets”. Other than that, they are not even remotely similar.

With that said, the Cold Front at $400 is a pretty good buy for what you get.

I like the looks of the Jetstream too

The Jettream jacket is by far the best Jacket that Sitka makes. Gortex Infinium (Wind Stopper) DWR finish, and it has pit zips. It is perfect for Early archery to late season rifle. I have had mine for 5-6 years and I has held up to the abuse. It is my go to jacket for sure.

Jetstream is Gore Tex, but isn't fully waterproof like the Coldfront. Sweet jacket though.

Kuiu Yukon might be closest from Kuiu? Haven't used it though.

Kryptek Aegis Extreme. I think it is probably warmer than the coldfront. Probably great for the saddle but too warm to hike much in. But it does have pit zips so maybe on late season hikes it would ok. Retail is $299 but I got mine on sale for under $200.

You are right - I misspoke - it’s the Kuiu Yukon I think is the closest match, not the guide jacket. The Yukon is waterproof
