I’m on my way to hunt I am actively engaged in the act… would be up for a judge to interpret I’m sure, but I’d argue there is a fair case to be made.Right but does the gas station or store in town during the hunt count as part of the hunting?

I linked the extent of the bill (minimal) in the first post.
From your background do they produce guidance on how enforcement should interpret such vague language?
So glad I left. Just another bruen response bill. Can probably be overturned based on heller. What a crock of shit. Grew up there. The place is unrecognizable now.
Interesting to hear what comes of this. Zip ties on zipper pulls isn’t hard too comply with. TSA requirements level cases and lock requirements is another matter of annoying.Yes, the DA's office will put on a legal updates seminar every year, sometimes twice if they are seeing issues.
*I think* the reality will be nobody will care where your gun is UNTIL your vehicle is stolen.
It was in a locked case as best as I can remember, is their proof otherwise?
They don’t prosecute actual criminals with weapons charges. TBD on how they go after previously law abiding citizens this is targeted towards to curtail legal gun ownership. But then again, the Denver DA doesn’t really prosecute criminals with weapon charges.
Over all the law seems like one of California’s 1000 gun laws that are unenforceable.
