Straight up 3rd world Internet cafe tactics. I deal with the occasional emails and bills from a plan I cancelled years ago.
 
I guess they needed a cash boost and decided it was worth the eventual lawsuit. BS tactics and does not make me want to get my planned inreach, but I know that better safe than sorry.
 
And we wonder why people don’t want to work customer service jobs…calling and yelling at the customer service rep does exactly zero good and just makes you an asshole.
You charge me for something I didn't authorize your gonna get the full ass not just the hole. They are paid representative of company..Maybe the company should do better and they wouldn't have irate folks calling.

They didn’t charge you shit. The people at the top, running the company are the ones that made the decision. You calling, yelling and screaming at the customer service rep does zero, zilch, nothing. It just makes you an asshole. You can achieve the same results without being an asshole.

But yes, make sure that you yell at the customer service rep and tell them all the things there company is doing wrong. I am sure that rep will bring it up at their quarterly lunch date with the C suite folks.

I always enjoy it when people are rude to me over a decision I didn’t make and don’t have the authority to change. It’s so wonderful.

I mean I could have yelled and screamed at the customer service rep for the Medical company trying to fleece me for $1,751 dollars by incorrectly inputting my insurance info then billing me directly and hoping I’d just pay it after I’d already paid for $12,000 in medical bills in the prior month between my sons birth and my unexpected hospitalization with Sepsis. I’m sure the exhausted young girl on the phone would have done her best to help me through my ranting and raving. And then when I got the bill a second and third time I could have screamed at them some more.

Or I could have just done what I did and nicely talked to them which resulted in a lengthy conversation about my dog, gardening and cooking while the guy on the other end fixed my issue and fixed the info in their system resulting in no more bill.

So if I can be polite to the customer service rep for the company actively trying to circumvent my insurance and steal a significant chunk of my discretionary income you can be nice to the Garmin rep because you didn’t read your emails and it cost you an extra $28.

It's America buddy you do you and I will do me...I also apologize for giving any indication I wanted your opinion.

See I can be polite, I just choose not to when a company is stealing from me, the amount of theft is insignificant.
