Burned mine in today. Tube was a major pain to roll up the first time. Burn in helped a lot, and was substantially easier the second time. Sped the process up a lot by using a roofing torch.

I'm wondering about the chimney size. It says 70mm which is about 2.75".

What tent stove jacks have you guys found it will fit? I was looking at the argali Rincon or absaroka. Would it work?

How easy is this to set up? The gohunt and argali ones seem very easy and was wondering if these are put together in a similar fashion. My seek uturn is a nightmare in the cold and snow

Someone else mentioned it is likely the same exact design as the GoHunt stove.

I talked to argali on the phone and they said there would likely be a little more play in the stove jack and maybe a little more ingress of precipitation, but likely wouldn't be a huge issue. They recommended looking into fire resistant/proof thread to stitch the jack opening slits a little tighter to fit better.

Just got mine. Took 10 days or so to get it. 3.6 lbs not including the case. Easiest titanium stove I’ve put together and feels just as solid as any of the others I’ve used. Hoping to burn it in this weekend. It’s heavier than most but the ease of putting it together and the cost make that bearable

So I burned mine in today, the stuff I brought for the sparks burned up and disappeared. Back to the drawing board for that.

Never mind, it just fell inside. Flattened it out some and stuck it back in.

Use one of these for rain if it's a problem.

I use a Stihl 180 to cut coke can sized logs about 12” long. Several days worth of wood in 15 min…

I always have a pair of leather gloves…

Take a small ash shovel…

Take a propane torch for easy relighting…

Use a lightweight cot to avoid rolling …

Take some bailing wire and pliers in case the wind gets going…

Don’t forget to set your main pole and stove legs on a stone…

Seal the edges of the tipi so wind can’t get in….

That’s what I can think of off hand.
After all that, I have to ask why spend anything extra on a titanium stove when weight clearly isn't an issue?

Six days from order to doorstep for me. Went together easy and seems pretty awesome for $135. Just need my Absaroka to get here.

Please let me know how that works out! That's a combo I've been thinking about

Burning in right now, pairs well with the Absaroka to get in the hot tent game for relatively cheap. Fit around the stove pipe is fine. I’m buying some SS mesh on Amazon to stick in the stove pipe for a spark arrestor.
