Curious to see testing, if they perform adequately, it think it’s a safe assumption that higher end models and suppressor companies are going to get undercut severely

They have been available in NZ long before you guys started making them. I first noticed them probably a decade ago and couldn’t find one in the states.Gee…. Look at all these OTB cans coming out all of a sudden.
But Rokslide doesn’t effect the industry….

When I first tried to find one the only thing that was really available was geared towards the AR space. I was pretty dumbfounded that they weren’t readily available here in the US. I even talked with a SOT about making me one but never followed through.I’m aware. The first OTB can I used was from the early 90’s. But- these companies coming out with OTB cans in the USA this year are all because of Rokslide and the US can- I’m not guessing.
AB were the first otb cans that I was aware of being publicly available.
And as far as I know that was before the unknown otb cans.

I’d say that is pretty accurate on the sudden rise in popularity.
Gap Jaeger was out 3-4 ish years ago, just didn't take it seems. Many choices of OTB cans global VS still few domestic. "additive" printed baffle tech is pushing 4-5" muzzle forward cans to same(or near) performance se dB wise as most the current OTB cans that have larger form factor. This evolution is going to continue for a while with the next best, he said she said, dB this, dB that for a while. Exciting times to be in the supressor market!I’m aware. The "hosing" came from the ATF fees for manufacturing and selling. The SOT stamps are just extra overhead expense that does nothing to make a better product or make more product. So that cost adds onto every single product.Look at the prices in New Zealand then factor in the exchange rate. We've been getting hosed for years.

This brings up an interesting point, any insight on what the service life of these aluminum cans is? To my understanding, they have been treated as semi-disposable accessories in Europe.Sort of. I have said for years that there needs to be $150-$300 aluminum suppressors on the market. But, they do have limitations that proper printed Ti cans do not.
When good aluminum cans come on the market that are sub $300; I would get high end printed Ti cans for my main rifles, and all the others would get good aluminum cans.
