so one of my good friends has been turning into a home-body since his daughter was born and not getting out in the woods anymore so i volunteered my back and my dog, we would carry all his and her gear if he would just carry her and come along for a little alpine fishing. easy first trip for them. 5mi round trip with around 1300ft elev. gain. she did great and i think it gave him a lot of confidence. heres some pics. she's 10 months. lake waas at around 4400.

It is amazing how resilient young kids are if you get them outside at an early age. Plus you had the dog out too, A+. Love the pic of your buddy Fishing with his daughter sitting on the bank. That is gold!
