Chamber rust

Any suggestions for removing minor rust from the rifle chamber? I have a 375 where the bore scope shows some surface rust. Copper solvent and a nylon brush did not do the trick.

Viniger but you’ll get flash rust fast afterwards.

If a bronze brush and any CLP doesn't remove it, it's not surface rust.

Wrap a brush with 0000 steel wool sprayed with penetrating oil. Insert into chamber and rotate at low/med speed with a drill. Don't worry about damage. You can't damage the chamber with fine wool.

This is the same procedure as removing surface rust from bluing without damaging the blue.

Borescopes often show staining that will look like rust, it can be worse when the chamber is wet.
