Certainly worth a gander.....but don't delete it just because you don't believe it.

I’d say that is a drastic change but we would have noticed Everest rising. For another example. Joshua asked for a longer day was recorded in Chinese scrolls during the reign of emperor yeo
Everest didn’t just “rise up” like Lazarus. It started about 60 million years ago and we can observe it still rising today.

Which begs the question....If we evolved from apes, why are there still apes?

Modern biology doesn't claim that we evolved from any primate living today. It claims that humans and other primate species that are still living, such as chimpanzees, evolved from a common ancestor. An extinct one.

From the Smithsonian FAQ on human evolution:

"Humans and monkeys are both primates. But humans are not descended from monkeys or any other primate living today. We do share a common ape ancestor with chimpanzees. It lived between 8 and 6 million years ago. But humans and chimpanzees evolved differently from that same ancestor. All apes and monkeys share a more distant relative, which lived about 25 million years ago."

In geology, uniformitarianism has included the gradualistic concept that "the present is the key to the past" and that geological events occur at the same rate now as they have always done, though many modern geologists no longer hold to a strict gradualism. Coined by William Whewell, it was originally proposed in contrast to catastrophism by British naturalists in the late 18th century, starting with the work of the geologist James Hutton in his many books including Theory of the Earth. Hutton's work was later refined by scientist John Playfair and popularised by geologist Charles Lyell's Principles of Geology in 1830. Today, Earth's history is considered to have been a slow, gradual process, punctuated by occasional natural catastrophic events.

It is really easy for noncreation thinkers to throw out years in numbers and commas so high that noone can nor will ever comprehend which in turn makes said noncreation thinkers not accountable for those commas. And if that isn't enough time for one animal to turn into another.....just give it more zeros.

It would be really great if people would actually be willing to at least hear the opposition out instead of ad hominem and baseless attacks about things that weren't even the initial subject.
It sure would. He asked for an explanation. It was not an attack on a person but the position. The exact opposite of ad hominem. If we’re going to use fancy terms let’s try to use them correctly.

How were two of every animal that currently walk or fly crammed aboard an arc that was roughly 1/2 the size of the titanic (not really a very big ship) with enough food to sustain them?

I don't know exactly how that happened but would be nice to know one day, just for the fun of it. But I'm pretty sure it happend in a way that we mortals could've never done ourselves....which is possibly the implication.

You do realize. They have changed the way they measure mountains and therefore it doesn’t mean Everest has grown. Just may have read the ruler wrong. I know that many will not believe. Believing even a small portion puts you in the chance you may believe in God. So let’s look at it this way. I believe in God from faith and convictions. I have spent most of the last 7 years studying apologetics or questionable events from the Bible. I will guess either are a atheist or agnostic. Just a guess along with others on here. I can look at things and know that it’s only by God. You look at things and don’t want to believe it could be God. But ask your self this. 1. Are you looking at the evidence with an open mind. 2. Have you took the time to realistically with a real chance given considered the evidence from the other side. 3. A good apologetics student looks at both sides and studies the opposite side too to understand what is being debated and from what angle.
If you say it louder or more convincingly it doesn’t make it right just louder. By simple twisting a truth we can all get the answer we want or in some cases need. Have you considered the evidence through a nonobjective world view. If not then this is a discussion with no finish line in sight.
So I will take this as a new line of questions I need to address to add to a rebuttal but there is no point in the argument if a open dialect can not be achieved. I will leave it as this.
I believe in God and have repented of my sins then and every day because I fall short everyday but if I die I will go to heaven if I’m right. If I’m right then non believers will go to hell. If your right then I’ve still not lost. If I’m right you have missed out and will have to admit confess the truth.

We have many species today based a genetic "kind". All dog breeds today stem from one "kind". Millions of animals were not put on a boat.

Polar bears would come from another bear. An ice age is explainable after a large global scale flood event.
So… evolution? 😉

Ok. Look at where the miricales took place. Then put the historical data to play. Could the see of Galilee have been frozen. No. Would a whale be in the Sea of Galilee maybe but how could a child carry a whale in a basket.
So, God could knock up a virgin but not freeze water?

Lazarus was raised from the dead technically. Mountains rise from the earth. People are raised from the dead. Mountains rise up from the ground. Or raised by God take your pick. I do not deny God has set things in motion to change

oh mercy. Yes could freeze water but you are making it work for your line of questions. Something’s will be out of our mind but others will be made clear. Jesus never changed the weather to suit his needs he was still God in human form but in his earthly ministry he could not have made it that easy or it would have effected free will. Are you going to believe someone is God if they just legit froze a whole sea. Sure but it takes faith to walk on water. See Peter could for a short walk on water line time time then lost his faith. Jesus was still in heaven in fellowship at the immaculate conception which Joseph documented the vision from the angel not Mary. This is so much to unpack especially on a forum. I also know when it becomes chippy then it’s run it’s course. As the answers borderline become insulting then The conversation is going nowhere and nothing I say or amount of proof I could provide will change anything. That’s when I choose to pray and not argue.

Show me a atom smaller than an eraser explode and create all matter in the universe.

Then show me that universe organized and placed precisely where it needs to be to have a planet harbor life perfectly while being shielded from the other planets acting as astroid blockers.

Let's then turn that rock mass that exploded from nothing and get water on it, I know "from the gasses" that came from nothing. Oh and then let's see it get life from nothing.

let's then See that life over billions and billions of years magically evolve in to a bacteria.

Let's then watch that bacteria evolve in to all life as we know it.....

My belief sure takes a lot less imagination than yours ...

Where did you get indoctrinated with the evolution theory from? Oh that's right.... Books.

Side note, the bible is not "a book" it is the compilation of 66 different books, written by over 40 different authors over 1500 years in 3 different continents. Pointing to one god, one messiah and one salvation.
So say the good folks that “compiled” all of it. Flock on 🤘

Read that back to yourself, from the opposite perspective.

You claim to be open minded, yet at the same time say that you "know" that what you see is god's creation. You also say that you "know" the "truth"

You speak in absolutes, yet expect others who think differently, to think in shades of grey.

I'm constantly amazed by the concept of the word 'choice' in conversations like this. I'm usually told that I 'choose' not to believe in a god. Utterly not true. Belief is another absolute. You do or you don't. You don't choose, or if you do, it's not a conscious decision.

You can not use infinite time and space. Even the theory of evolution has a beginning. Well kinda the exaggeration of time grows as they need it too.

Your premise, as most anyone, is that we are supposed to be able to explain and comprehend supernatural things with our natural mortal brains. And if we can't explain and comprehend, then it didn't happen. That is the problem and a dead end road.
Nearly the same exact argument goes both ways. Just change “supernatural” to “natural but prehistoric”. Instead of actually searching you choose the “a wizard did it” explanation.

Absolutely agree, however that doesn't make it true or not true. One must believe, that's why it's called religion. I believe in Jesus Christ, and I believe the Bible books are stories, and defi not written to be taken literary for the most part, especially creation!!! I believe in Jesus, that he died on the cross for our sins, and if I believe this my sins will be forgiven and I will go to heaven. This is my belief and it is impossible to prove or deny. Why do people feel the need to try and prove religious beliefs? Science is different (physics, math, chemistry, biology science) it's based on the pursuit and understanding of the natural world following a systematic methodology based on evidence. I'm a Christian and seek my pastor for faith issues and my physician for medical ones. If I seek medical questions from my pastor the first thing he tells me is he's not a physician. We do pray for medical healing because I believe it's connected and can help, especially the emotional part of feeling better. Medicine is science, my belief in Jesus is religious. I do both. When people push to try and prove Religion as science I call them very misguided at best and charlatans at worst. Your mileage may differ......

I do speak in absolute from my direction but I study others from other sides of the spectrum to be open minded. For example if was not open minded why would I read Steven Weinberg the first three minutes: a modern view of the origin of the universe or look into chopra’s material or hawkings: a brief history of time. If one looks subjective you will find like so many have that have set out to disprove God exist. They find God

Noah was a mortal though. So that theory is out.
