cell phone/ballistic phone app hack

Good to know thanks. I must have something wrong even though I have entered it about a dozen times lol. It's not a big deal I guess I like shooter I'll just stick with it.

I like that applied ballistic let me automatically sync the data from my phones built in pressure temp and humidity sensors

Been using shooter for a long time and it has proven to be right on for me. Use it with my custom Allen mag and my 7mag Tikka and both have been extremely accurate.

Do you feel it's worth paying for the military version of bf

If you plan to shoot over 1000 yards, yes. It has Coriolis and Spin Drift corrections for the (M) version. There may be other reasons, but that was enough for me. I have not tried the standard version.

Not sure if it's worth it but I like having the bullet inventory, makes it easy when comparing different loads. I'm not sure what other features the other option lack that the military version gets you.

Do u guys that have used shooter and bullet flight feel that bf is a lot better? i have shooter but never used a different on on my phone. I was thinking of trying the bf.
DO u guys use your phone when in the field or do u have a palm pilot or something similar. thanks

I always take my phone and a couple drop charts. If I am going overnight I take a newtrent charger. I have used both Shooter and BF(M). BF is just simpler and faster IMO.

BF or AB comparison to Strelok? I use Android and looked up BF (M) and its 29.99, what was Apple cost?

I used Strelok before I got BF and I like BF way more. It is one of only two apps I've ever paid for and I feel it is well worth it. (backcountry navigator is the other app)

If you're serious about hitting targets at long range, the $29.99 will be the cheapest and probably most useful part of your system.
