I'm evaluating an EDC and holster so this is all good stuff. I'm somewhere between an RM380 and Glock 29.
My biggest concern with a striker fire pistol (and no manual safety) is accidental discharge. I simply would not worry about that with my SP101 or SR1911, but these newer pistols require I educate myself more.
Just to add a couple comments and certainly not telling anyone what to do, but I'm using the below to guide how I EDC.
A miniscule % of CDE's (Civilian Defensive Encounters) need more than one mag.
Also, do not forget the FIBSA (Fudge, I'm Being Shot At) factor no matter what you carry.
