Caribou Pedestal ideas

I was able to take a nice bull last fall with High Country Alaska. I'm having him done on a pedestal but not sure how I want the habitat done. Just looking for anyone that has some good pics of Alaskan taxidermy with habitat.

I don't have a picture to share, just a thought. Be careful how much habitat the taxidermist uses. A little bit well done can add to the realism of the mount. Going overboard with too much or the wrong kind of habitat can take away from a great mount.

I built a pedestal for the bull in profile pic. I was going to add habitat, but I had an old tanned fur-on cow elk hide from an elk my late brother killed years ago. I made a slit about halfway across the rug along the spine and draped it over the pedestal. Looks nice to me and keeps a memory alive with my brother.

Im leaning the same way, thinking less is more. I like the amount of rock you have on both. Thinking I'll go heavy on the rock and have them add a bit of color with a few small shrubs/limbs
