I had a Stryker XL for all of last season whitetail hunting in Kentucky. I mostly do public land saddle hunting or some regular hand and hunts. This off season I got a Sherman pocket - not sure if I need it for whitetail until it gets really cold, but I’m going to Alaska on a caribou hunt this fall and wanted the extra storage.

After I got the Sherman pocket I wasn’t sure how I wanted it setup and I’m a little afraid of having so many straps and buckles. Wanted to see what others have done and liked with their Sherman pocket setups! Post pictures if you can!

Thanks for the input!

The Sherman pocket can flip down and hold the butt of your rifle. It is great for organization but doesn't add that much space. If you need more room, a bigger pack is lighter and better (like the bedlam or 44 mag or even Absaroka with strap modification to make it a day pack.
