The majority of gun owners in Canada more than likely have a or come from a hunting background...which translates to a small minority of Canadian population since most city folks don't or can't relate to hunting. As a result, the polarization of guns in Canada by our current Prime Minister creates these laws to grab votes.
I remember taking my 22/410 Savage to school for show and tell (70's) in my small town....imagine doing that today...

That would never happen, thats like telling the pharmaceutical companies not to sell drugs. Military contracts are the biggest source of revenue for weapon manufacturers.

If Biden and his buddy Obama had their ways and there wasn't a thing called the US Constitution in their way, the US would be a worse place than Canada for sure in regards to gun control/bans/rights-or Canadian privileges stripped away.

Just hearing Biden blabber about how a 9mm is a terrible weapon that blows the lungs out is enough to make me vomit. He is nothing more than a useful idiot for a group working to turn the US into a third rate country. The first step of that is disarming us. Once they do that, they can roll whatever they want over us and we have no way to fight. They know this, so it ruins their game.

This next election cycle will be telling as to how far they want to play this game.

Let’s not forget to add Donald Trump to that list. He was all for infringing our 2A rights. He said so very publicly while in office. He also oversaw the ban on bump stocks. Meanwhile we are allowed to carry in national parks because of a bill signed into law by Obama.

My point is, both parties have asshats that don’t give a damn about our rights.

What a weapon was designed for has nothing to do with the context it is used in by politicians. I take your meaning on that though. Not sure what you mean by “some of you are as bad as they are”. I’m trying to be accurate. We shouldn’t feel the need to be inaccurate. Too bad politicians do. Lumping people that are participating in this discussion into “them” and “us” isn’t going to help our cause.
