I really try to not miss much here, but I missed a thread on eating hunting partners?

After all this time of driving a tractor around like an idiot, rows crossed up, gaps, just to not miss anything and I miss that??

I've come across two references to eating your hunting partner in the last few hours...I must know more. Any chance of a link, or maybe even just a brief rundown? Google machine didn't turn anything up.
It was a hypothetical question about survival, just like the movie/true story “Alive”, except in a remote hunting situation. Admittedly it did kinda go into the gutter and I might have been part of that.

5'8" is not really short. Not hoopin for sure, but a normal human being.
If he's wearing platforms he's 5'8", I've met him several times. Hell, I know exactly where he lives because I've done work for one of his neighbors. The guy asked me if I knew who he was and pointed out where Cam shoots his bow from out in the street. 5'8" might be what's listed in his high school bio, but real world he doesn't come close to that.

He works for it and far as I know hasn’t tarnished hunting by his actions? Good enough for me. Sometimes we tend to get overly critical of people in the industry with notoriety.

There was something like that, that happened in Idaho, I remember hearing about in the sporting goods part of a store in Wendel in the early 90s that was in Life Magazine, where two hunters, the surviving one from Wendel and the other from Jerome got stuck in an early snowstorm in the Sawtooth's in 71 for 3 months. I was told that some believed the surviving hunter survived by cannibalism, insinuating he shot his buddy. Wendel in the 90s was the creepiest town I've ever spent any time in.

I was told one or more of the surviving hunters were thought by some in town to have survived by cannibalism. I don't know if it's true, I never verified with Life Magazine.

He had a funny post last night on all the feedback people give him on overtraining, shooting too much poundage and many of the critiques found on this thread. He said after careful consideration of all the comments “deal with it people”.

Well said.

I followed him for about a month or so on instagram and just wasn’t interested in watching him run everyday or lift weights so I unfollowed him. Simple.

I haven’t seen or heard anything he’s done since unless I read it in a Bowhunter magazine or he’s on a podcast. I think he’s fantastic for the hardcore hunters but not for everyone.

If he’s not for you unfollow him and keep hammering at your own life. IMO

He can be a bit odd, ridin his cycle with nothing but bikini shorts and running shoes but he doesn't bash anyone, helps anyone that asks, and worked for what he has. Some on here get twisted because he now hunts private but as he said, deal with it. #mustbenice
