Caltopo Slope Shading

Looking for some insight as I plan some tentative routes for a hunt this fall. I have OnX and also use Caltopo. On Caltopo there is a Slope angle shading layer that is color coded.

Anyone have experience with exactly what slope angle is actually walkable on foot without climbing equipment?

28 degrees? 40 degrees? 55?

Essentially, in my experience, the red/orange transition is where it becomes essentially a scramble rather than a walk. You can switchback those areas, but trying to straight up is pointless.

I went down a scree field that topped out in the red: 35-45, but was predominantly yellow/orange. It was sketchy and not sure I really want to do that too much.
